Support Summer Learning

Research shows that students who are not engaged in summer learning opportunities are likely to experience some level of learning loss, commonly known as summer slide. This trend is further compounded for students living in poverty.

The Tuscaloosa City Schools will host multiple high-interest, high-engagement summer learning programs across the city during the months of June and July. Programs will incorporate academics and enrichment activities, such as the arts, STEM education, and healthy living. You or your organization can help "slow the slide" by making a tax-deductible donation to the Tuscaloosa Education Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization!

Sponsorship opportunities include the following levels:
LEVEL AMOUNT
Student Level $50
Teacher Level $200
Principal Level $500
Director Level $1,000
Superintendent Level $5,000
Board Member Level $25,000

To support summer learning, download a contribution form and return it with your attached check to the Tuscaloosa City Schools Education Foundation. Make your gift go farther by notifying your employer's matching gifts administrator! To discuss individual or corporate sponsorship opportunities, please contact Terri Boman, the Executive Director of the Education Foundation.
